The second woman shot Wednesday evening in Wilson has died.
Wilson police says 19-year-old Shadimond Littleton passed away at Pitt Memorial Hospital Thursday evening.
Littleton was sitting in a car with two other women at 1011 Wilson Street around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when someone fired at the car.
21-year-old Shikia Denise Hall was also killed. The third woman was not hurt.
Shikia Denise Hall, 20, died from the shooting while Shadimond Littleton, 19, was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released the identity of the third person inside the car who was not injured during the shooting.
"I never got a chance to say goodbye," Shikia's father Reginald Hall said, who added that her daughter and her friends had pulled into the driveway for a few minutes before they were shot. "It's senseless and it also makes you wonder what actually happened."
Police have not released a motive in the shooting but said no arrests have been made.
Capresha Jones, who lives on the right side of the duplex officers responded to, said she heard at least seven gunshots Thursday night.
"I turned [Shikia's] head toward me and saw a bullet hole through the right side of her head," Jones said. "I've never seen anything like that before."
"I would have liked to see my daughter get married and have kids but now I won't have a chance to do those things," Hall said. "They took away a very special person."
