Four month investigation pays off with arrest

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit investigated a Bethel man for four months before they arrested him.
Officials said Kevin Thomas, 31, allegedly sold detectives more than 50 grams of cocaine during the investigation.
Thomas turned himself in on Friday and was arrested.
He was charged with 3 counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and one count of trafficking cocaine.
Thomas was placed in jail under a $150,000.00 bond.
