After an on-going investigation by the Pitt County Sheriff's Office, a female victim from Western North Carolina was identified and rescued.

She had been promised a cleaning job, but when she arrived, she was forced to engage in sex labor.

Vadez-Gomez and Machado Castro are charged with Solicit for Prostitution.

Both are in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.

Salinas-Rodriguez is charged with Sexual Servitude Adult Victim, and remains in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.

The operation involved numerous partners of the Pitt County Human Trafficking Task Force to include the Salvation Army and ICE (Immigration, Customs and Enforcement).
