Marketing Department: Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing must be capable of handling multiple tasks. This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day station and website marketing and promotions development and other day-to-day responsililities, budgeting, hiring of the marketing and promotions personnel, and complete production of the stations' promotional announcements. The Director of Marketing must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organization and time management skills are a must. Analytical ability to understand and utilize market research, ratings, and other information to strategically compete in the market.

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Marketing and Promotions Manager with a demonstrable track record of results. Experience writing, producing, lighting, shooting, and editing. Television, print and radio advertising. Proficient in television production and post production.

Must be capable of working in a fast-paced. deadline driven environment. An understanding of media and marketing terminology. The ability to forecast and budget and must be proficient in computer softward applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, ENPS, Adobe Premiere, After-Effects and other computer applications. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Must have a valid drivers' license and good driving record.
