Reward being offered in double murder near Mount Olive

Investigators are offering a reward in the murders of two parents who deputies say were killed while their young children were inside the home.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $3,000 reward for information in the deaths of 27-year-old Tyrone Beamon Jr. and 21-year-old Shaundrea Juanette Milhouse. The victim’s bodies were found Tuesday in a bathtub at Beamon's home on Waller Road west of Mount Olive. Sheriff Carey Winders said the discovery was gruesome and disturbing, and that the murders were personal, not random.
Beamon and Milhouse, of Knightdale, were dating, said investigators. Beamon's 3-year-old son and Milhouse's 1-year-old son were in the home when their parents were murdered, likely one to two days ago, Sheriff Winders said Wednesday.
The victims' bodies were discovered Tuesday when Beamon's family went to his home to check on him, said Maj. Tom Effler of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. The two children were found safe and are now under the care of family.
Autopsies for the victims were scheduled for Wednesday morning to determine an exact cause of death, said Effler.
At last check, no arrest had been made. But deputies said they were investigating persons of interest.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
