Teacher chokes on hot dog

A 28-year-old Chicago teacher is dead after she choked to death during a Cubs game at Wrigley Field.

Maureen Oleskiewicz, 28, was pronounced dead Tuesday at a nearby Chicago hospital after choking on a hot dog during Cubs v. Reds game on Sunday, The Chicago Tribune reported. She apparently began choking during the "National Anthem," but didn't display the usual signs of choking or distress. Instead, Oleskiewicz slumped over in her seat, unresponsive. Efforts by medical personnel to save her life were unsuccessful.

Oleskiewicz was an organ donor and her mom reportedly said she was told her daughter's heart will go to a 14-year-old girl in desperate need of one.
