An eighth person was arrested in connection to the Hustle Mart shooting in Farmville that left three store clerks dead.

Deputies arrested 28-year-old Timmy Odell House, of Latham Street in Greenville, Monday night at his place of work in Kinston, Pitt County Sheriff's Office Public Information Director Christy Wallace said.

House allegedly helped the suspects in the triple murder by destroying clothes worn during the crime, officials said. House is the brother of 24-year-old Willie Whitehead Jr., one of the four suspects charged with murder for the April 1 armed robbery and shooting at the Hustle Mart.

Whitehead, of Pinetops, 29-year-old Antwan Andre Anthony, of Bethel, 20-year-old Xavier Shamble ,of Farmville and 15-year-old Raekwon Terrell Blount, of Snow Hill, were each charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of the three workers at the store.

The victims were 16-year-old Mokbel "Sam" Mohamed Almujanahi, 24-year-old Gaber Alawi and 26-year-old Nabil Nasser Saeed Al'mogannahi.

House was charged with three counts of accessories after the fact to felony first-degree murder. He was in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $3 million secured bond. He could face a minimum of 121 years in prison if convicted, according to Judge Joseph Blick.

Last month, 23-year-old Ashley Dorthell Johnson, of Grey Point Drive in La Grange, turned herself in to authorities. Johnson was indicted on three counts of accessory after the fact. Investigators did not explain how Johnson was allegedly involved in the triple murder.

Johnson was the girlfriend of Whitehead, one of the murder suspects, investigators said. Johnson was also a student at East Carolina University.

Another person, Zipporah Rochell Purvis, of Farmville, was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Purvis allegedly helped the murder suspects escape from authorities, deputies said.

The mother of the juvenile murder suspect, 30-year-old Valerie Denis Blount, of Snow Hill, was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. She was released on bond.

The three adult murder suspects -- Whitehead, Anthony and Shamble -- were being held without bond at the Pitt County Detention Center. The juvenile suspect, Blount, who will be tried as an adult, was held under a $3 million bond at another facility.

Detective Shannon Stewart with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office said he hopes this makes people think twice before getting involved in anything illegal.

"If you participate in the initial crime, if you participate afterwards or before or if you assist someone in doing it then we're going to be there on your trail. And if we can put it together you're going to have to pay a price for it," he said.
