Blustery Conditions In Store For Eastern North Carolina
EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA -

We are tracking a dry cold front to move through tonight with frigid temperatures behind it.

There will be one last day of mild temperatures.  The cold front will move through Monday night.  We will not have any rain with the frontal system.

On Tuesday, it will be cold and breezy.  Highs will only reach the upper 30s to low 40s.  Northwest winds will make it feel like the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tuesday night is when we see some of the coldest temperatures thus far this season.  Overnight lows are expected to drop into the upper teen to low 20s.  Windy conditions will make it feel colder than that.

Blustery conditions will continue into Wednesday.  Highs are expected to only reach the low 40s across the mainland and the beaches.  Overnight lows Wednesday night will be in the mid 20s.

It's time to prepare for the cold temperatures.  You want to make sure you check your water pipes.  Please bring in your pets and any sensitive plants.  You want to check in on your elderly neighbors, friends and family.  Make sure you have plenty of anti-freeze in your car.

The windy conditions will make it feel very cold to your skin.  Please bundle up and cover as much skin as possible.
