LeBron James has that elusive first NBA title by leading the Miami Heat to a surprisingly breezy 121-106 victory over Oklahoma City to win the NBA Finals in five games. It's the Heat's second NBA championship in six seasons. James led the rout with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists.

James was named Finals MVP and afterward said the wait for his first title was worth it. He averaged 28.6 points in the Finals. This was James' ninth year in the NBA but his first title after making it to the Finals twice -- once with Cleveland and last year with Miami.

James says he plays "the game with a lot of love and a lot of passion" and called it "the happiest day in my life." James is 27 years old. Michael Jordan was 28 when he won the first of his six championships.

Mike Miller scored 23 points on 7-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. Chris Bosh added 23 points and Dwyane (dwayn) Wade 20.

Kevin Durant scored 32 points for the Thunder, who took Game 1 of the series and then dropped four straight.
