A teen was sentenced Thursday for beating a man at a gas station, an attack that was caught on camera.

Kemauri Bond, 16, pleaded guilty to felony common law robbery and was sentenced to eight to 19 months in prison, investigators said. As part of the plea deal, a misdemeanor assault charge against him was dropped.

Bond was one of two people who beat and robbed 62-year-old Ray Wooten at a Kangaroo Express gas station, at the corner of Evans St. and Arlington Blvd. in Greenville on October 8th, police said.

The surveillance video shows the victim walking to his SUV, when the attackers jumped him and beat him to the ground. In the video, the attackers can be seen grabbing the victim by the legs and dragging him around the concrete. The assault lasted about 45 seconds.

The other suspect in the attack, 20-year-old Jordan Williams, was in court Thursday afternoon. According to the clerk of courts, a verdict likely won’t come down until Friday.
