BEAUFORT -

Carteret County Sheriff deputies are on the hunt for suspects responsible for the death of two men Saturday night in Beaufort.

Deputies received the call just before 10 p.m. of a shooting of a father and son on Taylor Farm Road.

Officials said 20-year-old Albert Correll died on the scene and 50-year-old Duane Correll died at Carteret General Hospital.

Neighbors who saw the shooting happen said they heard the father and son arguing with two men before the shots were fired. They believe the argument was over a woman and may have involved money.

"Everybody's shocked," neighbor Mike O'Neill said. "There's been some fights down here, but no one has ever got shot."

Officials are looking for a four door silver or faded blue vehicle. Neighbors saw the vehicle leave the scene, but said they did not get a good look at the men.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime-Stoppers at (252) 726-INFO or the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 504-4800.

News Channel 12 is also looking into a drive by shooting in Pollocksville that has a similar car description.
