PINK HILL, LENOIR COUNTY -

Investigators are looking into how a Lenoir County barn caught fire Tuesday night.

The blaze happened on the 2500 block of Jones Town Road and Highway 11 South, near Pink Hill. According to Emergency Management Director Roger Dail, firefighters got the call just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The Pink Hill, Deep Run and Southwood Fire Departments responded, Dail said. No injuries were reported.

There was no word on how the fire started or the extent of damage. Investigators did not not say if the barn was privately-owned.
