Four Onslow County parents were arrested for allegedly cooking meth while their young children were in the house with them.
According to investigators, 22-year-old Judy Marie Swindle and 24-year-old John William Holland, both of Jacksonville, were making meth with Christopher Burgess and Tasha Gilbert on Sunday. The four suspects were in a home off Harris Creek Loop Road in Jacksonville.
As the four suspects were cooking meth, their four children, all younger than 5 years old, were with them, deputies said. Child Services have been alerted.
All four suspects were arrested on Monday, each charged with conspiring to manufacture meth. As of Thursday evening, they were still in the Onslow County Jail.
This isn't Holland's first drug charge . According to warrants, Holland was charged with possession of meth and using drug paraphernalia on April 3. He was also charged with having drug paraphernalia in 2005.
