HARLOWE, CRAVEN COUNTY -

An aunt and nephew have officially been charged for allegedly running a meth lab in Craven County.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies went to the home of 19-year-old Robert L. Outlaw lll and 37-year-old Laura Adams in Harlowe on Oct. 7 to arrest them on unrelated charges. But when deputies arrived at the home at 255 Taylor Rd., off Adams Creek Road near Long Creek Bridge, they discovered a meth lab that included Coleman camp fuel and rain solvents, investigators said.

The SBI assisted with the cleanup of the meth lab, said deputies. Both suspects have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
