Non-profit asking for Christmas donations for deployed troops

AYDEN, PITT COUNTY -

NCPacks4Patriots is providing a taste and touch of home to our troops this holiday season, and you can be a part of the program.

The Ayden non-profit group is asking for a list of items to be donated to deployed service members. The items include:

  • Small Christmas trees (1-3 ft)
  • Lightweight, unbreakable ornaments
  • Garland
  • Lights
  • Wall hangings
  • Stockings
  • Holiday treat bags filled with toiletries, snacks, small gifts (socks, handheld video games, card games, puzzle books, DVDs, CDs, hand and foot warmers)


NCPacks4Patriots is also encouraging folks to donate holiday-themed DVDs, CDs and financial support to mail the care packages.

The group is asking for donations by Dec. 3, 2013 to:
