A Lenoir County man is accused of running an illegal liquor house. Deputies arrested homeowner Larry Garrett following a three week investigation.

The house is on 239 Contentnea Dr. in Grifton.

Deputies tell NewsChannel 12 they received at least 25 complaints about the house since the beginning of this year.

When they searched the home, they allegedly discovered an illegal liquor sales operation as well as an illegal lottery gambling operation.

Garrett faces a list of charges, including two felony counts of maintaining a dwelling for keeping and selling controlled substances.

Investigators also arrested Latrance Brock, Douglas Alexander and William Moore.

All three were in the house when the warrant was executed, and all three face one felony count of cocaine possession.

At least six other people were in the house at the time of the search.

Each received a citation and was released at the scene.
