Police said they arrested two men who were caught in bed with a 14-year-old by the teen's mother and grandmother.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call on Walnut Street at about 12:50 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they saw a 14-year-old running out the home with her mother chasing after her, investigators said.
The officers spoke with the mother, who said she and the 14-year-old's grandmother discovered the teen in bed with two adult men. Both suspects were still in the home at the time and were arrested, police said.
The 14-year-old admitted to having sex with one of the two men, according to investigators.
Daryl Lynwood Locklear, 31, a homeless registered sex offender, has been charged with one count of statutory rape. He was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond and made his first court appearance on Monday.
Joseph Carl Thomas, 32, of Goldsboro, has been charged with indecent liberties with a child and was being jailed under a $45,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was also Monday.
