Update: Two men arrested in connection to Pitt County armed robbery

PITT COUNTY -

Officials have arrested two men accused of robbing a store last week.

Marquis Moore, 27, and Daron Spellmon, 29, were arrested on Monday. The duo allegedly robbed the Kash & Karry on Pactolus Highway on November 19.

Deputies said they are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery at a Pitt County store.

The robbery happened at Kash & Karry on Pactolus Highway just north of Greenville Tuesday night, according to the Pitt County Sheriff's Office. There was no word on what was stolen.

One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other was armed with a shotgun, investigators said.

Surveillance images showed both suspects dressed in black; one appeared to have been wearing a red bandana over his face and the other was wearing a red cap. Deputies said the men escaped in a large van.
