Police: $120,000 in crystal meth seized during Pitt County traffic stop

GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

A Georgia woman was found with $120,000 worth of crystal meth in her car during a traffic stop in Pitt County, police said.

According to investigators, 29-year-old Tierra Ramirez, of Duluth, Ga., was pulled over Saturday near the intersection of Stantonsburg Road and Allen Road in Greenville for a traffic violation.

During the stop, officers found 4 pounds of crystal meth in the trunk of the suspect's vehicle, said Greenville Police. The estimated value of the drugs is about $120,000.

Ramirez was arrested and charged with several conspiracy and trafficking charges. She was being held at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $400,000 secured bond.
