Reward offered in search for wanted Duplin County man

The Duplin County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a wanted man.

Investigators said they areĀ  looking for 50-year-old Tony Allen Padgette. He's described as 5-foot-7 and has graying hair.

According to the Duplin County Sheriff's Office, Padgette is wanted on numerous charges, including violating a domestic protective order, felony breaking-and-entering, felony fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and several other misdemeanor and traffic charges.

Deputies said Padgette may be driving an older model red or gray pickup truck with North Carolina license plate CDN-9943. The suspect is known to frequent the Pin Hook Community in Duplin County, said investigators.

A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to Padgette's arrest. Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is asked to contact the Duplin County Sheriff's Office at 910-296-2150 or call 911.
