Suspect in string of vehicle break-ins sought

HAVELOCK, CRAVEN COUNTY -

Police said they are searching for a man involved in a long string of vehicle break-ins in Craven County.

Officers in Havelock said they are looking for 20-year-old Mark Anthony Parker-Stallings. The suspect was allegedly involved in 19 vehicle break-ins in Havelock from Monday to Tuesday. All break-ins occurred early in the morning in the Slocum Village residential area, police said. The targeted vehicles were not secured, according to investigators.

Police said electronics, cash, credit cards and wallets were stolen.

Stallings is wanted on charges of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, identity theft, and misdemeanor larceny. Police said the suspect was last seen with a relative, Justin Michael Parker-Pickens.
