A new tropical depression formed as of 10:30pm Saturday night. This storm has the potential of becoming a tropical storm as early as Sunday.

The storm has been given the title Tropical Depression Eleven, since it is the eleventh one of the Atlantic season. When upgraded, the storm was located in the middle of the Atlantic, almost splitting the difference between Africa and the United States. The exact location at 25.2°N, 50.2°W.

Forecast models take this storm in a tight circle first northeast, then back south followed by a track north again staying well out to sea. The National Hurricane Center's official forecast track follows the models, showing the track twisting out at sea.

Tropical Depression Eleven was strong enough to generate sustained winds of 35 mph. It is expected to become Tropical Storm Jerry in the next day.
