Williamston felon sentenced for possessing a firearm
A federal judge in Raleigh has sentenced a 21-year-old Williamston man to almost five years in prison.
U. S. District Court Judge James C. Dever III sentenced Terrance Dishon Daniels to 57 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for possessing a firearm after having been convicted of a felony.
Williamston police arrested Daniels on December 18, 2012, saying he fired several shots from a .38 caliber revolver, while sitting in a car parked on Middle Street in Williamston.
Daniels was prohibited from possessing a firearm by virtue of a prior felonious assault conviction.
