DURHAM -

Duke point guard Quinn Cook was named ACC Co-Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Blue Devils to the Battle 4 Atlantis Championship in the Bahamas.

Cook earned the ACC’s weekly honor alongside Virginia Tech’s Erick Green.

During a three-day span in which Duke defeated Minnesota (89-71), VCU (67-58) and No. 2 Louisville (76-71), Cook averaged 13.7 points, 6.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game as Duke won its 23rd consecutive regular season tournament game.

Against Louisville, Cook scored 17 points with four assists and a career-high five steals.

He followed with nine points and a career-high matching nine assists against VCU and ended the tournament by scoring 15 points with six assists against No. 2 Louisville.

Since cracking the starting lineup four games ago, Cook is averaging 12.3 points and 7.0 assists per game, while the Blue Devils are averaging 80.0 points per game during that span.

At least four Blue Devils have scored in double figures in all four of those games.

Cook, who was twice named ACC Rookie of the Week as a freshman in 2011-12, will direct the Blue Devils on Wednesday against No. 4 Ohio State in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Buckeyes will be the third top-three opponent of the season for Duke and the third 2012 Final Four team Duke will face this year. The game tips off at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.
